Italy dominates valve supplies in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, where it is the leading overall supplier. The Gulf now accounts for 17.6% of national exports in the sector, having nearly doubled since 2021. Central Asia accounts for just over 1%, but tenders funded by the World Bank and EBRD offer real opportunities. The main challenges are local content, expensive certifications, and geopolitical risk.
